My +10 team

Germany play fabulously yesterday by beating Sweden 2 goals to nil. Klose and Podolski are in sync everytime they get the ball. Propably the best striking pair in this World Cup. Argentina was caught off guard by Mexico. But the still won 2-1 after extra time. I guess the Argentinians under estimated the Mexicans. They played with all their hearts out there. It was unfortunate that there can be only 1 who goes through to the next round.

Tonight's games will be interesting. England meets Ecuador and Portugal square off with Holland. Now that Owen is out of the world cup, Crouch and Rooney are gonna be the main strike pair. But I hope we would get to see more of Teo Walcott. "Come on Eriksson give the kid a chance and some god damn experince will ya" (say it in a cockney accent).

As for Portugal and Holland, Haiz... Both teams have a special place in my heart. Its gonna be heart breakin to see one of them go home. I see Portugal as a mini-brazil with the flair play in the likes of C.Ronaldo, Deco and Figo. As for Holland, the speed and power of Robben, Nistelrooy and Van Der Vaart. Who will win it I dunno. All I have to say is, May the best team wins.

I've been tagged : 7 random things

Well its been awhile since i blog here and i don't intend to do it on a daily basis. Maybe once in awhile when i've got nothing to do and i feel like sharing with the world what's going on in my mind.

In 3 months time, I'm going to serve the nation. Im not against it neither am i eager to do it. 6 years of NCC is enough for me. But still, its not like i hav a choice. I'll just do the best i can for the country.

It's World Cup season again this year. I'm hoping for Brazil to win it again this year. But judging from their performances for the past 2 games, Im getting second thoughts. Germany look like strong contenders this year and so does Argentina. Spain could do it too. England? well not when they are playing like that and Italy? well I do have a soft spot for them, but please for god's sake quit the drama mama will ya. So my best bet? Germany, Brazil final but no idea who will win it, but judging on their present performances, Germany.
